Twist diagnostics permits to determine exactly which twist motions are required in each particular case to remove causes and symptoms of disease.

Two basic approaches are used in making a twist diagnosis. The first is applicable to lesions with determined localization, while the second is preferable in multi ple systemic diseases or when a lesion has not been determined with due precision.

In twist-diagnosing a well-defined lesion, one can make twist motions with both the affected body part proper and its correspondence in any other anatomic structure. The selection of a correspondence system is based on principles of organisation and interaction of body parts within an integral Homo system. For treatment of internal organs, application of Triorigin correspondences to body parts and fingertoe phalanges is effective.

Of all possible correspondences, the one should be selected, which makes the most pronounced abnormal response to twisting in one of positions. Abnormal responses signalling about a disease are as follows: pain, restricted volume of motion, tension, numbness, pricking, any other unpleasant sensations in the twisted area or exacerbation of symptoms of disease.

Having determined a twist motion that causes abnormal response, one should pass on to therapy, which includes oppositely directed twist motions. Therapy should start in the same posture, in which the abnormal response was obtained during twist diagnostics. The therapeutic movement should be performed in the opposite direction until the reverse position is reached. During the procedure, the border of unpleasant sensations should not be trespassed, no painful overtwisting should be made. Twist therapy is not to be accompanied by any painful symptoms.

Besides the above twist motion, the following techniques are therapeutically significant: opposite (middirection, or diagonal) bend twist and opposite symmetrical twist (in two directions symmetrical to the initial one), namely leftward and rightward, or frontward and backward. This princi ple of determining four kinds of therapeutic movements is applicable to any body part. For example. a patient with the right arm pains exhibits an abnormal response — pain increase — during out-twist of the hanging and elbow-bent arm (in the front-lower direction). The first therapeutic movement will be in-twist of the right arm in the determined (initial) position. The second therapeutic movement will be in-twist of the elbow-bent right arm shifted obliquely (diagonally) in the front-leftupper direction, opposite to the initial one. The third and fourth therapeutic movements will be in-twist of the elbow-bent right arm in the back-right-lower and back-left-lower directions — symmetrically to the initial one.

A twist prescri ption composed according to the twist diagnosis may contain only one — the most effective — twist motion, which often might be sufficient for obtaining the necessary therapeutic effect. In order to enhance the reliability and shorten the duration of therapy, two or three of four possible therapeutic twist motions are often performed. If required, each therapeutic twist motion can be repeated three times in accordance with Triorigin order, and in chronic diseases the whole twist prescri ption should be applied three times daily. It is recommended to remake twist diagnostics several days later.

Having felt soreness in some body part, we often spontaneously start to twist and turn it. This is none other than natural twist therapy. Since natural twist has Neuto properties, the therapeutic effect is obtained due to effortless rotation of this body part as far as naturally possible. At first, natural twist is made in the direction opposite to the one causing the pain increase, then opposite twist in the reverse position. For a stable effect, the range of motion might be gradually increased until the affected body part begins to rotate freely.
