I.P.Minasyan, M.D., doctor at the Su Jok Academy, Moscow
Male patient D., age 37. Infantile cerebral paralysis.
In the past: high intracranial pressure, various liver diseases (viral hepatitis, hemolytic jaundice - twice).
The patient practically could not move because of spastic contractions of his arms and legs, he could maintain his body in an upright position with difficulty, even when seated. He was troubled by migraines and persistent constipation.
In the treatment of this patient was used energy flow therapy to tonify the Vertical Core meridian. Magnets were fixed at the Vertical Core byol-meridian in the "insect" system (fig. 1).

Besides, the external Humidity chakra was sedated and the external Wind chakra was tonified by applying magnets (fig. 2). The 6 Ki treatment was aimed at tonification of the unit energies of Heat and Hotness.

Two courses of treatment, each comprising ten sessions, were carried out with a month interval. The general condition improved, the patient made progress in sitting and maintaining the body's stability in an upright position. His parents look forward to continue treatment.
S.A.Tzoi, Tashkent, Uzbekistan
A 70-year-old patient.
Diagnosis: hypertensive disease, III stage. Acute dynamic cerebral circulation impairment with right-sided hemiparesis and speech disturbance.
His relatives point out that the patient felt worse about 16 p.m. when there appeared weakness in the right limbs. On examination the patient looked restless and frightened, couldn't talk, blood pressure (BP) 220/100 mm Hg, paresis and decreased sensitivity of the right half of the body, loss of speech.
The following emergency treatment was made: moxibustion of the basic points on the both hands - 7 times (Fig. 1), massage of the heart, kidneys and brain correspondence areas (Fig. 2). Within 10 minutes the patient felt better: BP decreased to 180/95 mm Hg, he started telling, though with difficulty and uncertainty, that numbness of the tongue was going off, vision improving and hearing restoring.

Then in the "insect" system of the left hand needles were inserted into all tender points corresponding to the brain, heart, kidneys and spinal cord followed by bloodletting. Both hands were used for treatment.
After the session that lasted for an hour, the man was considerably better: BP decreased to 150/90 mm Hg, he began to talk and smile, but still weakness in the limbs persisted.
Next morning during examination the patient answered the questions distinctly, looked more
active, BP - 160/100 mm Hg, right limbs were stronger. Needles were put into the tender points corresponding to the brain, heart, kidneys in the miisystem followed by moxatherapy (Fig. 3). Treatment ended by triple moxibustion of the basic points and recommendation to use an elastic ring to massage the fingers for himself. BP was normal - 140/90 mm Hg.

On the third day the patient reported that the sense of dumbness in the right half of the body was completely gone. He could freely move in the room, BP was normal.
It was decided to make treatment only through the basic points by moxibustion. There still remained tender points in the correspondence system, and I advised the patient to stimulate them for himself with a massage ring until tenderness disappears completely.
During the next several years there were no relapses.
M.Y.Mokrenko, M.D., Balashikha, Russia
Patient K.: age 63.
Suffers from hypertensive disease III stage, cerebral arteriosclerosis. Some 18 months before had acute impairment of cerebral circulation followed by development of left-side hemiparesis. At present an walk only in her apartment aided by other persons. Reports of incontinence of urine during 20 years.
Her suffering expression of the face, lachrymose mood, dry wrinkled skin with a blackish hue and slowness of movements allow to diagnose the excess of Homo energy in the patient. Vertical wrinkles at the ear auricle and softness of the auricle cartilage pointed to exhaustion of the kidney meridian. Loose muscles of the limbs and body, opaque lacklustre sclera indicated serious disturbances in the liver meridian. Constipation and dry wrinkled dark skin pointed to excessive Dryness in the patient's constitution. Undoubtedly, considering the nature of the patient's illness and her emotional state, there was the energy of Coldness (Fear) dominating in the heart meridian.
Owing to the patient's grave condition in general, at the first sessions preference was given to moxatherapy and laser therapy: warming up of the areas corresponding to the heart, liver, kidneys, energy points, and also of the spinal cord byol-meridian and the heart byol-meridian.
In the "insect" system beet seeds (Hotness energy) were fixed on the heart correspondence area, green peas (Wind energy) on the liver correspondence area. Millet seeds (Hotness energy) and nasturtium seeds (their shape resembles the brain and the white colour indicated the energy of Brightness) were placed on the projection of the brain in the "insect" system and on the brain correspondence area in the embryonal system on the ear auricle ("head-down", Hotness stage); white French beans (Brightness energy) were used to stimulate the area corresponding to the kidneys in the standard correspondence system. Buckwheat seeds were used to sedate the byol-meridian of the bladder (Fig. 1).

Also, emotional and mental treatment was made with needles: sedation of Sadness and Fear, tonification of Joy on the heart byol-meridian; sedation of UM-Consciousness and UM-Will, tonification of UM-Originality.
Besides, phytotherapy was administered: the patient was taking nettle decoction, since nettle contributes to strengthening protective forces of the organism. After the first sessions the patient's mood was noticeably better. Having taken a course of treatment (10 sessions) the patient began to walk in her apartment, incontinence of urine stopped.
