Female patient, 48 years old

Diagnosis: Climacteric syndrome. Dysbacteriosis. The large intestine polyposis. Polyp of endometrium.

Her complaints concerned hot flush, which occurred up to 10 times a day, and alternated with chill sensation. This is associated with an increase in AP reaching 150/90 mm Hg (effective blood pressure - 120/80 mm Hg). Dragging pains in the left iliac region, proneness to constipation. The patient would wake up daily at 4 a.m. irrispective of the time of falling asleep.

The cited complaints emerged about two years ago and became aggravated over the last few months.

The colonofibroscopy findings indicated polyposis of the large intestine. The USI findings with regard to the small pelvis organs revealed polyp of endometrium.

Physical examination of the patient demonstrated her normosthenic constitution, and showed that she tended to a slightly unmeasured diet. Her integuments are thin, looking as if they were transparent. In her left nasolabial fold there is a big, dark birth mark. Engaging the therapist's attention is the rueful countenance of the patient.

The fact that the large intestine mucous membrane was found affected (polyposis) and specific features of the patient's skin have made it possible to assess her present condition as one involving the Dryness energy. During first session of treatment she underwent sedation of the Dryness external chakra and tonification of the Heat external chakra by means of magnets, within the course of one natural day (fig. 1). This contributed to her night sleep getting normalized (for the first time in two years' period).

The presence of dysbacteriosis, proneness to constipations, and a birth mark along the large intestine meridian all are indicative of the Coldness energy within AH-Dryness structure. Furthermore, physiological weakening of the functions (climacteric) caused by UM-Dryness energy will be associated with excruciating attacks of hot flush brought about by an excessive Hotness within UM-Dryness framework. That the branch Humidity in UM-Dryness is in excess was borne out by the patient' wakefulness during the pulmonary meridians' activity and by the polyps of mucous (i.e. internal membranes that are also being controlled by the UM-Dryness energy).

Treatment included: sedation of Hotness and Humidity in UM-Dryness and tonification of Coldness in UM-Dryness. The Hotness and Humidity tonification and Coldness sedation were carried out in the AH-Dryness chakra, since under the condition of excessiveness of single Dryness in this patient the structural patterns of chakras AH- and UM-Dryness proved to be the opposite (fig. 2).

As a result of such a treatment, the patient's hot flush ceased to be after the fourth therapeutic session. With 10 procedures completed, the USI findings with regard to the small pelvis organs showed no pathologic formations in the womb. The fibrocolonoscopy investigations revealed that only one out of four polyps remained intact, its size having been reduced from 7 to 2 cm.

Female patient T., age 28. Second labour at full time. Hypotonic bleeding.

Treatment. Tourniquet-therapy was applied, using a round rubber strap along the uterus correspondence points on the hand in the standard correspondence system (Fig. 1).

Within one minute the bleeding became to decrease, and within 5 minutes it stopped completely.

Female patient l., age 27.

Clinical diagnosis: erosion of the uterine neck, bilateral adnexitis.

Complaints about pains in the lower abdomen on each side, radiating into the sacrum, loin; dirty-yellow discharge with unpleasant smell.

The patient has been ailing for 3 years following dystocia. She was taking courses of treatment periodically, with short-time improvement of her condition. In her words, she is "tired of taking treatment". There appeared hopelessness, unbelief in successful cure.

Su Jok diagnosis: excessive subbranch Humidity in the branch Wind of UM-Coldness and excessive subbranch Dryness in the branch Dryness of AH-Hotness.

Treatment: moxibustion and stimulation of the basic points with needles was applied to the points of correspondence to the uterus, ovaries in the main and minisystems of correspondence. The treatment from the 6 Ki viewpoint was carried out according to two prescriptions made with regard to the antisubjugation law every other day: sedation of the subbranch Humidity in the branch Wind of UM-Coldness and sedation of the subbranch Dryness in the branch Dryness of AH-Hotness (Fig. 1, 2).

The patient attended 8 sessions. After the second session the pains were over, a day passed and discharge decreased charply. After the seventh session the patient consulted her gynecologist who stated that the uterine neck erosion diminished up to 2 mm, the US examination showed no pathological changes in the ovaries.

A 38 year old female.

Diagnosis: acute left-sided adnexitis.

Complains of spasmodic pains in the left iliac region, chills, subfebrile temperature, frequent urination (up to 6-7 times per night).

I evaluated this attack as excess of AH-Coldness energy and placed magnet sticks to sedate the bladder byol-meridian on both sides, and a ring magnet to sedate AH-Coldness on the nail plate of the fourth right finger - with the magnet's yellow center outwards (Fig. 1).

Besides, I treated the energy points with the soft laser on the Yin- and Yang-surfaces of the right hand (Fig. 2) and inserted needles into the ovaries correspondence points.

The temperature was normal on the following day, the pains subsided on the third day of treatment.

 

A.V.Yashina, physician, Jordan

Female: age 26.

Complaints of irregular menstruation, excessive hairiness of the face, back, abdomen, and limbs. Had been taking hormonal preparations for the last four years to normalise menstrual cycle.

Diagnosis: polycystosis of ovaries, hirsutism. Treatment began with warming the correspondence points of pituitiary gland, ovaries, adrenal glands, uterus and lower basic points in the standard correspondence system of the hands with moxas (Fig. 1). For night, seeds were applied to the areas corresponding to these organs in the standard systems of the hand and foot. On her own, the patient was colouring the uterus and ovaries correspondence areas from the beginning of the menstrual cycle according to the following scheme: 1st week - green colour, 2nd - red, 3rd - orange, and 4th - yellow colour. Hormonal medication was cancelled.

In the end of the treatment course flow began. Now the patient have regular menstruation, hairiness decreased considerably.

Patient born in 1934.

Uterine myoma was diagnosed two years before. Multiple myoma, 9 weeks. The patient also complains of high meteosensitivity, emotional lability manifest in quickly changing moods and uncontrollable burst of anger.

Medical history: since childhood has been short-sighted, at 11 she had hepatitis. During the last eight years she has been suffering from cholelithiasis (single stone in the gall bladder).

The patient's conplaints and past history data point to the greatest disturbances in the Wind energy system.

For example, short-sightedness can be determined by excessive Wind energy at both the branch level and the level of basic energies.

Hepatitis accompanied by the Liver enlargement testifies to alterations in the liver meridian where excessive branch Hotness is most probable.

Production of stones in the gall bladder, on the contrary, points to dominating contraction processes there, which is connected with excessive branch Coldness in the gall bladder meridian.

High meteosensitivity and emotional lability are usually seen in people with excessive AH-Wind. Bursts of anger are also clearly indicative of excessive energy in the gall bladder meridian.

All the aforesaid, along with the nature of disease (myoma is a muscular tissue disease), allowed to infer that the treatment of this patient should aim at harmonizing the gall bladder meridian.

Treatment:

1) At the individual energies level, energy flow therapy was employed to sedate the gall bladder byol-meridian, since its structure was evaluated as excessive (Fig. 1).

2) At the branch energies level, branch Coldness energy was sedated in the gall bladder byol-meridian which was aimed at treatment of cholelithiasis (Fig. 2).

3) At the sub-branch energies level, sub-branch Coldness (tumour) was sedated in branch Wind (myometrium) of AH-Hotness (uterus) (Fig. 3).

Comparison of these acupuncture prescriptions points to connections between various level energies involved in the pathology. Thus, the substructure level prescription, being reduced correctly, will coincide with the structure level prescription.

As soon as after the first treatment course that consisted of 10 sessions, an US examination showed that myoma dissolved completely, a stone in the gall bladder was gone too. There was no need for repeated treatment course. After treatment she has been under observation for three years.

Female patient, born in 1966.

Came with a 37-day history of bloody discharge from the uterus that appeared following spontaneous abortion at three-week pregnancy term, and also sharp paroxysmal pains in the lower abdomen.

At the first session correspondence systems of the hand were employed. All basic points were warmed up with a moxa, needles were applied to the uterus and ovaries correspondence areas (Fig. 1). At the moment of introducing needles the patient felt an acute pain in the uterus which later became dull. Thirty minutes afterwards the patient's condition grew better, pains practically went off.

On the following day the patient was not troubled by pains, bleeding became less profuse.

At the second session Six Ki treatment was conducted through byol-chakras. Since the constitution of excessive unified Wind was diagnosed, there was carried out tonification of the unified Dryness energy (Fig. 2).

On further observation during two days the bleeding decreased considerably to stop completely later on.

Patient born in 1961. A three-year history of uterine myoma, 10 weeks.

For the last several months the patient has been troubled by sharp pains in the lower abdomen. Her gynaecologist recommended surgical treatment but the patient is hesitating about an operation.

Associated diseases: chronic rhinitis, chronic maxillary sinusitis, polyp of the large intestine, constipation, in childhood often had pneumonias.

On examination: increased dryness and pigmentation of skin, numerous wrinkles. The patient is easy to weep, vulnerable and over-sensitive.

So, at the level of individual energies the excessive energy of UM-Dryness is manifest (skin dryness, constipations, childhood pneumonias, lacrymose moods, over-sensitivity). The Dryness energy that controls the body's skin integument, mucous membranes, and membranes of the cells. In the Dryness energy structure the branch energies of Dryness and Coldness predominate resulting in impaired permeability of membranes, changes in metabolic processes which might contribute to the formation of a uterine myoma.

Since the greatest imbalance in the patient is found in Dryness energy, it is with this energy that uterine myoma's pathogenesis is connected in this case. Uterine cell membranes are controlled by branch Dryness energy in basic AH-Hotness energy. Considering excessive branch energies of Dryness and Coldness in the membrane structure, branch Heat was tonified there. Thus, treatment was aimed at tonification of sub-branch Heat, branch Dryness in AH-Hotness (Fig. 1).

After 10 sessions of treatment the uterine myoma dissolved completely, skin dryness decreased, stools normalized. The patient remained under observation for three years.

Thus, a fast and complete effect of treatment can be achieved owing to the differentiated approach to patients, considering associated pathology and a woman's emotional state.

Patient born in 1959.

About two years before she had been diagnosed with uterine endometriosis. At the time of her visit to the doctor she complained of painful profuse menstruation, bloody discharge several days before, and after, menstruation.

Associated discases: urolithiasis, chronic cystitis, cyst in the right popliteal fossa. Frequent dull aching pains in the back of the head, hands and feet are moist, cool. The patient constantly feels cold, is very cautious, slow to cross the street, afraid to go out in the evening.

Associated pathologies and the patient's emotional state pointed to the domination of UM-Coldness (and UM-Fear) energies in the individual energies constitution. So, treatment started with correcting the patient's psycho-emotional state: sedation of UM-Fear with magnets during two days, each session four hours long (Fig. 1).

Then she received treatment at the level of sub-branch energies. According to the spatial diagnostics, the endometrium falls under the category of Coldness, since it is the inner layer of the uterus. Migration of endometrium's cells is related to Hetero energies (energies of extension), such as Wind, Heat and Hotness.

So the treatment was aimed at sedating sub-branch Heat (Hotness) in branch Coldness of AH-Hotness. The prescription was composed using the combination technique (Fig. 2).

Apparently, apart from treating endometriosis, this prescription wiould also have an effect on all the structures related to the Coldness energy, first of all, on affected kidneys, bladder, right leg, back of the head, emotional disorders connected with the feeling of fear.

After two days of treatment the patient's condition grew considerably better: her moods changed, she became more sociable and self-confident, there appeared a sensation of warmth in the head. The said prescription was used throughout the whole treatment (two courses 12 sessions each, with a one-month interval). As a result, the patient's health was gradually improving, menstrual periods normalized ultrasonic examination revealed no pathology. It is noteworthy that by US examination no kidney stones were discovered either.

Analysing these cases it should be emphasized that when choosing a prescription one should take into consideration not only the patient's diagnosis proper, but first of all her psycho-emotional state where the latent causes of a disease are rooted.

 

Golubeva, M.D., Vladivostok, Russia

Female: age 49. Uterine myoma. Right ovarian cyst.

Came with complaints of pains in the right inguinal region, in the lower abdomen and bloody discharge.

Ultrasound investigation revealed two knotty formations on the posterior wall of the uterus and a cyst of the right ovary.

The patient received treatment by the correspondence system and Six Ki.

In the standard correspondence system of the hand needles were introduced in the most tender ponts corresponding to the uterus and right ovary.

During the subsequent sessions a combination of two prescriptions was used: sedation Humidity of the brain byol-meridian on the right side for treatment of the ovarian cyst (Fig. 1), and sedation of Coldness in the spinal cord byol-meridian structure for treatment of uterine myoma (on both sides) (Fig. 2).

In all, 12 sessions were conducted. A US check following the treatment course did not reveal any knotty formations in the uterus or cyst of the right ovary.

Patient: my daughter, age 25.

Has been under observation by the gynaecologist for a year with cervical erosion. Conservative therapy and two cautery sessions were ineffective, third cautery was administered. I decided to try Su Jok therapy.

The first two days I warmed up the correspondence points, then during 5 days I employed Six Ki treatment: sedation of sub-branch Dryness of branch Dryness of AH-Hotness (Fig. 1).

After a fortnight my daughter visited her gynaecologist who said that she was well. No pathology has been found for eighteen months yet.

During my summer holidays on the seaside, I happened to be helping a woman in childbirth. When after 12 hours from the beginning of contractions the woman passed fluids, the labour suddenly stopped. I had no instruments about me, so I decided to apply colour therapy:

- I coloured AH-Hotness byol-meridians orange along the energy flow in them for tonification and improvement of the energy state of the uterus and foetus;

- I tonified AH-Wind byol-meridians with green colour to make labour more active;

- for the same purpose, in the structure of AH-Hotness byol-meridians I tonified Wind energy, sedated Humidity energy with green colour through the corresponding meridian points, tonified Wind of the Governor byol-meridian (Fig. 1);

- I coloured green the uterus correspondences in the "insect" systems in the direction of foetal movements, visualising this process.

The labour restored, and within 40 minutes the woman safely gave birth to a healthy girl. There were no complications.
