Male patient V., age 75

His complaints concerned a hampered and slowed urination (residual urine showed 100 ml), general weakness, the feel of the cold. The USI-based findings pointed to the prostate adenoma with concrements.

His other ailments, according to anamnesis, included multiple atherosclerosis, cataract in both eyes, diabetes mellitus (type 2). There is virtually no rise in arterial pressure. The patient was noted for his punctuality, smart bearing, the reticence with his speech being characterized by clear-cut structural patterns.

The patient's symptoms were revealing an excessiveness in the energies of Coldness (the troubles concerning the urinogenital system) and of Dryness (his strong will-power, sclerotic processes, prostate adenoma). His good memory and diabetic condition pointed out to a relative excess in Humidity. The general impression about the patient will be suggestive of a deficiency in the Wind energy (he is rather inactive in movement in the course of the day), in the Heat energy (the feel of the cold; the need to wear warm clothes on all occasions), and in the Hotness energy (quite evident diminution of vitality). His Su Jok-based diagnosis: the constitution notable for an excessive unified Dryness energy (with the Hotness-Coldness axis being predominant) (fig. 1).

The patient's disorders were of chronic character and were associated with the somatic status of the body, the general deficiency of energy being clearly defined. Accordingly, the treatment was started by the application of moxas in order to heat up the basic points (because prior to redistributing the energies, their inflow into the organism will have to be increased). Then the internal chakras were engaged to tonify the Wind and Heat energies and to sedate the Dryness energy (fig. 2). This technique was chosen due to the fact that in this patient's constitution the Dryness energy is connected through its axes with the Heat and Wind energies; moreover, as a result of the Heat and Wind energies tonification, the excessive energies of Coldness and Humidity will be reduced in strength (see the subaxes in fig. 1).

After six therapeutic procedures his problems concerning the urinary system have proved to be by far the less acute. His complexion, pale as it was before the therapy, had become of high color instead; there was no more feel of the cold, and his vitality showed an improvement, as did the way he spoke. The general condition of the patient was found to have improved by 70% according to his own estimate.

Male patient, age 79. Renal insufficiency

Diagnosis: proliferative and membranous glomerulonephritis, secondary nephrogenic hypertension, anemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism, left ventricle hyperthrophy, degenerative processes in knee joints. According to his medical history, he had gout.

The patient was subjected to hemodialysis 4 hours a day thrice a week. The urea and creatinine quotients were found to exceed the norm more than six-fold, and anuria phenomenon was recorded (the amount of the urine secreted proved to be not more than 50 ml per day). On top of that, hepatitis B and C was diagnosed. Kidneys transplantation involved a great risk, since the patient's age was contraindicative to surgery.

The patient's condition was one of severe depression.

His previous treatments based on allopathic medicine failed to impove the diseased condition.

Then the Su Jok therapy technique was applied, which included:

1. Treatment according to correspondence system, namely: stimulation of the kidneys correspondence zones in the standard system, "insect" system, and both hands correspondence minisystem (fig. 1-3). In order to enhance the overall curative effect, the needles insertion was combined with the application of big ring magnets - when a needle was stuck in the middle of a ring magnet to hit the kidneys correspondence zones.

2. Treatment at emotional level, which involved sedation of Fear, tonification of Joy, sedation of Sadness within the framework of the Brightness chakra (fig. 4).

3. Treatment based on the Six-Ki principle: sedation of Humidity, tonification of Wind, sedation of Dryness within the framework of the UM-Muladhara chakra (fig. 5).

Apart from the doctors in charge, the patient was given care by his family doing their best to encourage him to overcome his disease.

Our efforts were crowned with remarkable success. Indeed, over 20 months have elapsed since the patient's kidneys began functioning normally. This has eliminated the need to conduct hemodialysis. The hepatitis B signs have disappeared. His somatic and mental health showed a worthwhile improvement.

Male patient, age 13. Enuresis.

Sedation of Humidity in the Lower Vertical Core byol-meridian of the auricle was found to be a success (fig. 1).

The treatment was applied in embryo system, "head down" position, Hotness stage. With five therapeutic sessions over, there was no need to proceed with his treatment. The enuresis manifestations had disappeared starting from the first session.

Male patient I., age 63.

In the past: pyelonephritis, the right kidney was removed (cyst). Complaints about edematous legs up to the inguinal region and frequent urination at nights.

Considerable improvement of the patient's condition was obtained only following the treatment by stimulation of the Diamond energy system of the body. Humidity and Dryness in the Lower Vertical Core byol-meridian were sedated (united front-back correspondence system) (Fig. 1).

By the second session, the leg edema noticeably decreased. After three therapeutic sessions urination was normalized, and he was able to put on his shoes which he could not wear before because of edematous legs.

Patient V.: age 67.

Diagnosis: acute haemorrhagic cystitis. She complained of frequent urination with pains and blood, cutting pains in the lower abdomen.

Treatment: the bladder correspondence point in the standard correspondence system and in the minisystem on the right hand was first warmed up with moxas (Fig. 1), then stimulated with needles.

In the standard correspondence system on the left hand the bladder projection was massaged with a diagnostic stick. Within 5 to 7 minutes the patient reported about a strong sensation of warmth in the bladder region and disappearance of pains. She went home in good mood. On the following day only mild boring pains persisted in the lower abdomen. In urinalysis erythrocytes were absent. After the second session pains were over. The patient feels absolutely healthy, urinalysis is normal.

 

N.A.Farshatova, M.D., Novosibirsk, Russia

An 18-year-old female. Cyst of the right kidney.

She came with complaints of dull, aching pains in the back on the right side. US examination revealed a cyst of the right kidney 3.5 cm across.

In the standard correspondence system French beans were applied to the kidneys area. Also, Six Ki treatment was used: Humidity in the UM-Coldness structure was sedated (Fig. 1) and the kidneys meridian was coloured with a green felt-pen.

On the whole, 8 sessions were conducted. As soon as after the 3rd session the pains and unpleasant sensations in the back were gone. On the completion of the treatment course a US check showed that the cyst of the right kidney decreased to become 2.6 mm across.

Patient: a 10-year-old girl.

Diagnosis: enuresis. Presented with complaints of frequent urination at night.

Her past history: Has been suffering from this disorder since 4. Besides, 2 years ago the girl was attacked by a dog and since then she is afraid of dogs, also she is afraid of entering an emply room alone. The girl is closed, unsociable. On examination: a noticeable rough scar on the left shoulder 10cm x 2.5 cm in size.

Su Jok diagnosis: excessive branch Humidity in the bladder meridian.

At the first session basic points were warmed up with a moxa, hands were massaged. Needles were introduced for 30 minutes into the most tender points in the areas corresponding to the bladder, adrenal glands, brain and spinal cord. At the second session to these procedures emotional therapy was added: sedation of AH-Fear and tonification of AH-Joy (Fig. 1). Also, in the bladder byol-meridian structure Humidity energy was sedated (Fig. 2).

In all, she had 8 sessions.

As soon as after the first session the girl felt more self-confident. In the evening she went to her room alone and went to bed. On the following day, seeing a dog in the street, she wasn't frightened. At night no bedwetting was reported.

After the third procedure the girl and her mother went to see their acquantances that had the dog that had bitten the girl. The girl came to the dog and stroked it. After the course of treatment the girl became a good pupil, made friends. No enuresis is reported. Interestingly, the keloid cicatrix on the left shoulder disappeared, too.

 

G.N.Myreev, Yakutsk, Russia

Male: age 25.

Diagnosis: chronic glomerulonephritis. Chronic renal insufficiency, II degree.

Has been ill for four years. The past two months he had been treated in hospital, transferred to programme hemodialysis three times per week. Prior to beginning a Su Jok therapy the general blood count revealed elevation of ESR (44 mm/hr) with normal number of leukocytes; in analysis of the urine - proteinuria 5 g/l, macrohematuria (erythrocytes in entire visual field), leukocyturia - 6-8 in visual field.

The course of treatment consisted of seven daily sessions and included:

- moxibustion of the energy points of the hand with minimoxas;

- needling into the sensitive points corresponding to the kidneys and adrenal glands in the standard and minisystems of the hands and feet;

- seed therapy with beans in the kidney correspondences on the hands and feet;

- Six Ki treatment at the emotional level: sedation of branch Fear of the Brightness byol-chakra (at the first procedure), tonification of UM-Joy on byol-chakras at the second procedure (Fig. 1), sedation of subbranch Joy (inflammation, hematuria) within branch Happiness (nephron) of the basic UM-Fear energy (kidneys) on byol-chakras beginning with the third procedure (Fig. 2).

After treatment, in the general analysis of the urine: protein 0.33%, individual leukocytes in visual field, unchanged erythrocytes - 2-3-5 in visual field, changed ones - 3-5-16 in visual field.
